This ENRD workshop on Natura 2000 will explore how to make an effective use of support possibilities under Rural Development policy.

Specifically, the event will discuss synergies between Natura 2000 and the Rural Development Programmes (RDPs), focusing on the implementation of relevant RDP Measures and exchange of lessons learnt and good practice examples. The workshop is organised within the framework of the recently adopted European Commission’s Action Plan for nature, people and the economy.

The event is intended for national and regional RDP Managing Authorities. It is jointly organised by the ENRD Contact Point and the European Commission’s Directorate-Generals for agriculture (DG AGRI) and environment (DG ENV).
